Now that you've launched your email collector campaign, it's time to send those contacts over to Klaviyo, so you can take action!
Once you set up the integration, two things happen when an email is collected from your Vidjet campaign (you don't need to perform any action - this is informational).
We create a new Contact Property => vidjet_email_collected: true
We send an event ‘Vidjet Email Collected’ with the campaign name associated
Some use cases
If you create a new segment with Event is 'Vidjet Email Collected' you could trigger some emails based on the Vidjet campaign.
Example 1: I have a video telling the visitor that if he/she enters their email address, we will offer a 20% discount on the next order
Example 2: I have a video on the order confirmation page letting the customer know that if they want to know about upcoming deals and new products, they can enter their email address.
Here are the steps you need to take in order to activate the Klaviyo integration:
Log in to your Vidjet account
Navigate to the Settings (left menu) > Integration section:
3. Click on the Klaviyo icon:
4. Click the link to create a private API key for Vidjet (this will redirect you to log in to your Klaviyo account (second screenshot):
5. Continue following the steps in Klaviyo to create your API key.
Once you have your API key, go back to Vidjet and copy and paste it into the modal, then click the button "Integrate with Klaviyo" and you're done!
